This film is absolutely fantastic. From the writing, to the script to the directorial choices, I simply adore this masterpiece. It's an excellent example of blending genres and leaves room for so much thought and contemplation. It's a little bit scary, a little bit mysterious and a touch of humour (not in the haha sense). Overall, a great film. 9/10

I love this short film so much. A charming, creative and beautiful story with outstanding performances by stars Leigh Smith and Jesse Everett. The power is in the subtext, or what isn't said. The power is in the eyes and the emotion. As someone who is an artist both in front and behind the camera, I can say that I am inspired and impressed by this tiny film that punches well above its weight.

This is one of my fave gay movies of all time and most certainly my fave "coming out" movie. Perhaps its because I grew up queer in a small town, or perhaps I just have a thing for Parker Young (he's cute, not gonna lie), but either way, this film is an adorable gem that despite its predictability, is still a joyous blast to watch again and again.

If you're like me, there is something powerful about the nostalgia of the Blockbuster days when you would rent DVDs, or better yet, VHSs. This entire plot of this film is in its title: Joe literally runs a video to the local "Blockbuster." But I have to say, sometimes the most simple premise is also the most impactful. This film is unique, heartwarming and truly a gem. Definitely worth the watch.

If you're looking for a light-hearted, gay, teen romcom, then this is the film for you. Not to be taken too seriously, the charm of this movie is its whimsy and its innocence while still packing a punch in the jokes department. Overall a great film for when you want to watch something cute and funny.
